In a coordinated effort to combat crime, the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested 37 people in separate operations in Jatrabari and Gulshan on Saturday. These drives were aimed at apprehending individuals involved in various criminal activities, as part of ongoing efforts to enhance security in the capital.

Operation Details and Arrests

Jatrabari Police executed raids in crime-prone areas, resulting in the arrest of 23 suspects, including those wanted in pending cases. Simultaneously, Gulshan Police arrested 14 individuals from different hotspots within their jurisdiction. These detainees were involved in a range of offences, according to the police.

All arrestees were brought before the competent court for further legal action, ensuring due process is followed in each case. The police emphasized that these operations are part of a broader strategy to maintain peace and order across Dhaka.
