Women and Children Affairs and Social Welfare Minister Abu Zafar Md. Zahid Hossain has reached Islamabad, Pakistan, leading a Bangladesh delegation to attend the 9th OIC Ministerial Conference on Women, scheduled to be held on July 12-13.
Delegation Arrival and Reception
Upon arrival at Islamabad International Airport, the delegation was received by Pakistan's Minister of State for Law and Justice Barrister Aqeel Malik and Bangladesh High Commissioner to Pakistan Md. Iqbal Hossain Khan. The delegation includes Secretary of the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs Yasmin Parveen and the minister's Private Secretary Dr. Md. Mahmudul Haque.
Visit to Bangladesh Chancery Complex
After reaching the Pakistani capital, Minister AZM Zahid visited the newly constructed Bangladesh Chancery Complex in Islamabad's Diplomatic Enclave. Officials and staff members of the Bangladesh High Commission welcomed him at the chancery premises.
