International Master Manon Reja Neer of Bangladesh has shared the top spot with two other players, accumulating 2.5 points from four games, following the fourth round of the Vezerkepzo Summer 2026 Grandmaster Chess Tournament held in Budapest, Hungary. In the fourth round, IM Neer, playing with the black pieces, secured a valuable draw against the seasoned Serbian Grandmaster Dušan. This result comes after Neer suffered his first defeat of the tournament in the previous round against Hungarian Grandmaster Dávid Berczes.

The Vezerkepzo Summer 2026 Grandmaster Chess Tournament, a prestigious event attracting top-tier players from around the globe, has seen intense competition. IM Neer's performance highlights his skill and resilience, maintaining a strong position despite the challenges posed by experienced opponents.
