Ben Duckett's historic 141 powered England to a series-clinching 27-run victory over India in the third one-day international at Lord's on Sunday. The England opener's innings marked the highest individual score in any men's ODI at Lord's, surpassing Vivian Richards' 138 in the 1979 World Cup final. England's total of 387-3 was also the highest at the venue, exceeding their previous best of 334-4 against India in the 1975 World Cup.

Duckett's innings was a masterclass in batting, featuring 15 fours and three sixes. His partnership with Dawid Malan, who scored 89, laid the foundation for England's formidable total. India, in response, were restricted to 360-8, despite valiant efforts from Shreyas Iyer and Hardik Pandya.

The victory not only secured the series for England but also showcased the depth and talent within the squad. Duckett's performance was particularly notable, as he became the first Englishman to score a century in an ODI at Lord's since 2011.

England's win at Lord's was a testament to their aggressive brand of cricket, which has become a hallmark of their limited-overs approach. The series win over India, a cricketing powerhouse, underscores England's growing dominance in the ODI format.

This victory holds significance for cricket fans worldwide, including those in Bangladesh, where the sport is immensely popular. The series win reaffirms England's status as a formidable ODI team, capable of challenging the best in the world.
