The Bangladesh Air Force Inter-Base Swimming and Water Polo Competition 2026 concluded with a ceremony at the Naval Headquarters Swimming Complex in Banani. BAF Base Bir Uttam AK Khandker dominated the swimming event, winning six gold, four silver, and seven bronze medals. In the water polo competition, they clinched the championship by defeating BAF Base Zahurul Haque 5-4.

Air Vice Marshal Javed Tanveer Khan, Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Plans), attended the event as the chief guest and distributed the prizes. Air Vice Marshal Syed Saidur Rahman, Air Officer Commanding of BAF Base Bashar, was also present. The five-day event, inaugurated by Air Vice Marshal Syed Saidur Rahman on August 9, saw participation from seven Air Force teams.

This competition not only showcased the athletic prowess of the Air Force personnel but also fostered camaraderie and healthy competition among the bases. The event highlighted the dedication and skills of the participants, contributing to the overall development and spirit of the Bangladesh Air Force.
