Five Gen Z protesters shared their stories with AFP at the main protest site in New Delhi. Madhu, a 21-year-old, highlighted the initial spark provided by the exam paper leak and the platform offered by the CJP. She emphasized the years of repressed frustration that have driven people to join the movement. Aarohi Singh, a 23-year-old from Lucknow, traveled to New Delhi with her family's blessing, motivated by her sister's failed retest after the paper leak.
Broader Expression of Anger
Sahil, a 28-year-old corporate employee, has been coordinating food deliveries for protesters, noting the movement's growth into a broader expression of anger against various issues in the country. Kunal Suryavanshi, a 17-year-old engineering student from Madhya Pradesh, sees the protest as an opportunity to be part of something that could lead to change. Yuvraj, a 24-year-old law student from Punjab, expressed anger over compromised entrance tests and the need for accountability.

The protesters' main demand is the sacking of the education minister, whom they blame for the exam paper leaks and the broader issues of accountability. The movement reflects a deep sense of frustration and a desire for change among India's youth.
