State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Yasser Khan Choudhury emphasized the BNP government's commitment to rural development.

State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Yasser Khan Choudhury today said that the BNP government is working for the development of rural communities. Initiatives are underway to change the fate of the nation. Family Cards and Farmer Cards have already been introduced while a nationwide census for Family Cards is beginning.

Choudhury made the remarks while addressing a union-level BNP workers' conference as chief guest at Bashhati High School ground in Chandipasha Union of Nandail upazila. He emphasized that BNP does politics for the people and the source of all power lies with the people.

Recalling past achievements, Choudhury noted that the BNP government had made education free for girls up to HSC level. He added that the current government has taken steps to make education free for girls up to degree and honours level.
