Applications for ASI (Disarmed) positions in Bangladesh Police have started today, Tuesday. The total number of positions is not specified in the notification. The list of vacant positions by district will be published on the Bangladesh Police website. The application deadline is May 27, 2026.
Candidates must have passed SSC or equivalent (minimum GPA 3.5) and HSC or equivalent (minimum GPA 3.5). Proficiency and experience in computer use are required.
Male candidates must be at least 5 feet 6 inches (1.6764 meters) tall with a chest measurement of 32 inches (0.8121 meters) in a normal state and 34 inches (0.8636 meters) when expanded. Female candidates must be at least 5 feet 4 inches (1.6256 meters) tall.
Applications must be submitted online at http://police.teletalk.com.bd. After completing the application form, eligible candidates will receive a User ID.
Candidates must send two SMS from a Teletalk prepaid mobile number with at least 48 taka balance using their User ID. The first SMS should be 'ASI User ID' to 16222, and the second SMS should be 'ASI YesPIN Number' to 16222.
During the training period, candidates will receive a monthly training allowance as per government rules.
After submitting the online application form and paying the 48 taka fee, candidates will receive a User ID. They will then undergo preliminary screening and physical fitness tests. Candidates who pass these tests must fill out an online application form for the written and psychological tests, which require an application fee of 112 taka (to be paid via Teletalk).
Candidates who pass the written and psychological tests will take a computer proficiency test. Those who pass this test will be eligible for the intelligence and oral tests.
Results for initially selected candidates will be published based on scores from the written, psychological, intelligence, and oral tests, following the existing quota system issued by the government.
Initially selected candidates must undergo a medical examination.

Districts: Satkhira, Naogaon, Joypurhat, Panchagarh, Habiganj, Netrokona, Dhaka, Rajbari, Feni, Lakshmipur, Chuadanga, Bogra, Dinajpur, Sylhet, Jhalakathi, and Patuakhali. Dates and time: June 21, 22, and 23, 2026, at 8:00 AM.
Districts: Narayanganj, Munshiganj, Cox's Bazar, Meherpur, Natore, Lalmonirhat, Gaibandha, Sherpur, Bhola, Barguna, Mymensingh, Gazipur, Shariatpur, Manikganj, Gopalganj, and Bandarban. Dates and time: June 24, 25, and 26, 2026, at 8:00 AM.
Districts: Noakhali, Bagerhat, Jessore, Rajshahi, Thakurgaon, Nilphamari, Moulvibazar, Narsingdi, Chandpur, Chittagong, Kushtia, Magura, Pabna, Rangpur, Pirojpur, and Barisal. Dates and time: June 27, 28, and 29, 2026, at 8:00 AM.
Information regarding written and psychological tests, computer proficiency tests, intelligence and oral tests, and medical examinations will be provided on the Bangladesh Police official website (www.police.gov.bd), verified Facebook pages, and via SMS to candidates' mobile numbers.
