The Public Service Commission (PSC) has temporarily recommended six additional candidates for the 46th BCS after verifying their documents. These candidates' Muktijoddha (Freedom Fighter) certificates were found to be valid after further scrutiny. The PSC published a notification on its website today, Monday, regarding this decision.
Earlier, on February 8 of the current year, the PSC announced the final results of the 46th BCS exam 2023. At that time, 1,457 candidates were temporarily recommended for various cadres. However, the nomination of six candidates was suspended for verification of their Muktijoddha quota documents. The PSC has now withdrawn the suspension and temporarily recommended them for final appointment.
The PSC stated that the new recommendations include five candidates for general cadres and one for a technical cadre. Among them, two candidates have been recommended for the BCS Administration Cadre, with registration numbers 11107278 and 11025264. Additionally, candidates with registration numbers 11089829, 13027866, 13025281, and 17018651 have been recommended for the BCS Police, BCS Tax, BCS Family Planning, and BCS Livestock cadres, respectively.
The PSC's notification mentioned that this recommendation is temporary. Before the final appointment, the recruiting authority will verify the candidates' educational qualifications, Muktijoddha certificates, and other documents. Additionally, the candidates must be declared fit by the Medical Board formed by the Health Department and pass the police verification process.
The notification also warned that if any candidate provides false information or conceals information in their application, their nomination will be canceled as per the advertisement's terms. Even after appointment, if such information is proven, the candidate will be dismissed from service and legal action will be taken against them. The recommended candidates can view the results and detailed instructions on the PSC's official website.
