The ceremonies, spread across three countries over two days, will also include indigenous artists, modern folk performances, and traditional Mexican art forms like 'Papel Picado'. Additional performers include Alejandro Fernandez, Belinda, Danny Ocean, J Balvin, Lila Downs, Los Angeles Azules, Mana, and South African singer-songwriter Tyla.
Mexico City Opening Ceremony
The opening match will see host Mexico face South Africa. Before the match, the Mexico City Stadium will host the tournament's official opening ceremony, showcasing Mexican culture through indigenous artists, modern folk performances, and traditional art forms.
Canada and USA Opening Ceremonies
Canada will host Bosnia and Herzegovina, with performances by Alanis Morissette, Alessia Cara, Eliana, Jessie Reyez, Michael Buble, Nora Fatehi, Sanjoy, Védrim, and William Prince. The USA will face Paraguay, with performances by Katy Perry, Future, Anitta, Lisa, Rema, and Tyla.
