Mohini, a renowned South Indian actress from the 1990s, has recently come forward with allegations that she was pressured into performing an intimate scene in the 1994 Tamil film 'Kanmani'. In a recent interview, she detailed her experience of being mentally coerced into filming a swimsuit scene despite her discomfort and objections.

According to Mohini, director R.K. Selvamani had planned a swimsuit scene for the movie, which she was extremely uncomfortable with from the start. She recounted crying, refusing to film the scene, and even attempting to explain that she did not know how to swim. Despite her objections, she claims she was eventually forced to film the scene under mental pressure.

Mohini further stated that she refused to film a similar scene at another location, asserting that if the shooting stopped, it would be the producers' problem, not hers. She emphasized that 'Kanmani' was the only film where she was made to act overly glamorously against her will. The actress also lamented that the controversial scenes overshadowed her performance, preventing her from receiving due recognition for her role.

Mohini, who has worked with numerous stars including Shivaji Ganesan, Chiranjeevi, Mohanlal, and Mammootty, expressed her frustration over the incident. She has not received any comments from the film's producers or those involved regarding her allegations.
