Korean actor Kim Su-hyun is set to return to the screen with the long-delayed Netflix series 'Knock Off'. The series, initially planned for release in April 2025, was postponed following allegations against the actor.
The actor faced significant backlash after accusations of dating a minor actress surfaced. His lawyer, Ko Sang-rok, stated that the series might release in the first half of 2026. He emphasized the mental strain the actor endured due to false allegations and threats.
Disney Plus is coordinating the broadcast schedule for the series, though a final release date has not been confirmed. The initial allegations, which Ko Sang-rok claims were based on false information spread by a YouTuber, led to the actor's temporary withdrawal from the entertainment industry. The YouTuber has since been arrested by the police.
Kim Su-hyun will star alongside Jo Bo-ah in 'Knock Off'.
