Popular actor and social activist Elias Kanchan has undergone 60 chemotherapy sessions in London while battling brain cancer. Diagnosed with a brain tumor last year, Kanchan has been receiving treatment in the UK. After surgery in August, he underwent three months of chemotherapy followed by oral therapy. Despite the extensive treatment, his condition has not shown significant improvement. Currently, he is undergoing the second phase of oral therapy, which will continue until July 30. Doctors hope this phase may lead to some improvement in his condition.
Elias Kanchan is currently staying at his daughter Ima Islam's home in London. Although he can speak slowly, he faces difficulty in completing sentences. His eating habits have also changed. Despite the challenges, his family remains his greatest support. He spends most of his time with his daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren, finding solace in their company.
Recently, some smiling photos of Kanchan with his family circulated on social media, leading many to believe he might be recovering quickly. However, the reality is that his road to recovery is still long.
