Actress Yami Haque Bobby's home in Manipur was robbed, with millions worth of assets stolen. The thieves broke through the window grill to steal gold jewelry, cash, and valuable watches. Bobby informed the public through a Facebook post on Thursday. Her uncle, Abdul Kader Bhuiyan, filed a complaint at Kafrul Police Station on May 27. Three individuals have been arrested in connection with the robbery.
In her Facebook post, Bobby described the theft as a well-planned and professional operation by a criminal syndicate. She expressed deep distress, noting that the stolen items included cherished memories and sentimental value from her father. Police have recovered approximately four bhori of gold and arrested two individuals, Faruk and his wife.
The total value of the stolen assets, including gold jewelry, watches, and cash, is estimated at 85.7 lakh taka. Bobby expressed gratitude towards law enforcement for their efforts but emphasized that most of her belongings remain unrecovered. She appealed to the public for prayers for the swift recovery of the remaining items.
