Khulna Agricultural University (KAU) celebrated its 11th founding anniversary on Tuesday, marking the beginning of its 12th academic year with a series of events. Established on July 14, 2015, the university organized a range of activities including the hoisting of national and university flags, a voluntary blood donation program, an inter-faculty debate competition, an inter-team English language proficiency contest, a discussion meeting, a cake-cutting ceremony, and a prize distribution. Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Nazmul Ahsan, Treasurer Prof. Dr. Shamim Ahmed Kamal Uddin Khan, Acting Registrar Md. Rezaul Islam, along with teachers, students, officers, and employees attended the celebrations. During his speech, the Vice-Chancellor highlighted the university's achievements in higher education and agricultural research, expressing confidence in its future progress towards becoming a comprehensive university. He also emphasized the significant contributions that KAU graduates will make to the development of a prosperous Bangladesh.

The anniversary celebrations underscored KAU's commitment to academic excellence and research in agriculture, a critical sector for Bangladesh's economy. Since its establishment, the university has focused on producing skilled professionals capable of addressing the challenges in agricultural sciences. The events held on the anniversary day not only celebrated past achievements but also set the tone for future endeavors aimed at enhancing agricultural productivity and sustainability in the region.
