A two-day international seminar titled ‘Ecology, Biological and Biochemical Sciences, Agriculture and Population Issues’ was held today at Rajshahi University (RU). The seminar, a significant gathering of minds, aimed to explore the intricate connections between ecology, science, and population dynamics. Vice-Chancellor Prof Md. Faridul Islam attended as the chief guest, alongside Pro-Vice-Chancellors Prof Md. Abdul Alim and Prof Mamunur Rashid. The event was a collaborative effort involving multiple departments and institutes at RU.

The seminar was jointly organized by the Department of Population Science and Human Resource Development, the Institute of Environmental Science, the Heat-ATP Sub-project of the Department of Fisheries, and the Career Counseling and Development Center (CCDC). Prof J. A. M. Sakilur Rahman chaired the event, with Prof Md. Nurul Momen, Director of CCDC, delivering the welcome address. Notable attendees included Student Adviser Prof A. H. M.
