A court has ordered three individuals to be sent to jail for allegedly attempting to murder a motorcyclist by attacking him with bricks in Dhaka's Kafrul area. The accused are Mo. Parvez, Anwar Hossain Babu, and Mo. Foysal alias Kalu. They were produced before Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Kamal Uddin on Friday afternoon, where the order was given, according to SI Wazed Ali of the court's prosecution department. The investigating officer, SI Mo. Hasibur Rahman of Kafrul Thana, had requested that the three accused be remanded in custody. According to case documents, Parvez was arrested from the Indian border area of Dhobaura Upazila in Mymensingh on Thursday. Anwar Hossain Babu was arrested from the Ibrahimpur area of the capital on the same day. Foysal alias Kalu was arrested by RAB during a raid in the Kafrul area. The complaint alleges that on Tuesday night around 1:20 AM, Sajid Chowdhury Rafi was returning home on his motorcycle when several individuals attacked him in the Ibrahimpur area of Kafrul Thana due to prior enmity. They struck him on the right side of his head with a brick, causing him to fall off his motorcycle and sustain serious injuries. Rafi was later taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where he underwent surgery. Preliminary interrogation revealed that the attack was motivated by a business dispute.

The case was filed by Rafi's uncle, Nur Hossain, who accused the three individuals of attempted murder. The arrests were made in different locations, with Parvez being apprehended near the Indian border, Anwar Hossain Babu in the Ibrahimpur area, and Foysal alias Kalu in Kafrul.
