The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has announced comprehensive security measures across Bangladesh to ensure the peaceful observance of the July Martyrs' Day tomorrow. In a statement today, RAB said it has strengthened security arrangements in coordination with other law enforcement agencies, intelligence services, and local administration following an overall assessment of potential security risks. The elite force has put heightened vigilance in place to prevent any untoward incidents by extremist groups, banned organizations, or elements seeking to disrupt public order during the nationwide observance.

As part of the security plan, RAB has intensified intelligence gathering, deployed plainclothes personnel along key routes, increased patrols, and established additional checkpoints at strategic locations. Security has also been reinforced at program venues and July memorial sites. RAB's Bomb Disposal Unit and Dog Squad are conducting security sweeps at important locations in the capital and will remain on standby to respond to any emergency throughout the observance.

The force will operate under its own command while maintaining close coordination with police, intelligence agencies, and local authorities to ensure effective security coverage. Urging public cooperation, RAB requested citizens to immediately report any suspicious activity or attempts to create disorder to the nearest RAB patrol team or battalion commander, saying public support would be vital to maintaining law and order during the observance of July Martyrs' Day.
