Prime Minister Tareq Rahman will travel to Cox's Bazar on Saturday for a one-day visit. Additional Press Secretary Atikur Rahman Rumon announced this. The Prime Minister will fly to Cox's Bazar, where he will participate in various programs including the inauguration of the Patali Canal re-excavation in Chakaria and a nationwide tree plantation program. He will return to Dhaka on the same day.

This will be Prime Minister Tareq Rahman's first visit to Cox's Bazar since assuming office. His day's schedule includes laying the foundation stone, attending a public meeting organized by the local BNP at Chakaria Bus Terminal in the afternoon, and participating in a gathering in the evening.

Additionally, Prime Minister Tareq Rahman will tour Marine Drive Road. He will lay the foundation stone for the long-awaited Pekua Municipality and the new Matamuhuri Upazila.
