Prime Minister Tareq Rahman has expressed gratitude to the Law Minister and Home Minister for the swift action taken in the Pallabi child murder case, where an eight-year-old was raped and brutally killed. In a press release issued on Sunday from the National Parliament Secretariat, the Prime Minister praised the effective role of the relevant ministries and law enforcement agencies in identifying and apprehending the criminals involved in the heinous crime. During a meeting of the Advisory Committee held at the National Parliament Building, the Prime Minister specifically thanked the Law and Home Ministers, stating that the quick investigation, identification, and arrest of the criminals reflected the government's firm commitment to maintaining law and order. He expressed hope that the judicial proceedings of the case would be completed swiftly and that the guilty parties would receive appropriate punishment under the law. The Prime Minister also called on law enforcement agencies, investigating officers, and all concerned to maintain the same level of professionalism and dedication in ensuring public safety. Members present at the meeting also praised the swift action taken in the case and expressed their expectation that the government's 'zero tolerance' policy towards crime would continue in the future.
