BNP Secretary General and Local Government Minister Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has called for Chinese investment in Thakurgaon to build industries. He expressed this during a program at Shahid Mohammad Ali Stadium in Thakurgaon, where educational materials were distributed among primary school students. Chinese Ambassador Yao Wen pledged to send a delegation within two to three months to explore investment opportunities.

The event, organized by the Chinese Embassy, distributed school bags, pens, colored pencils, notebooks, and other educational materials to 6,500 students. The ambassador also announced plans for a student exchange program to China.

Mirza Fakhrul highlighted China's ongoing support for Bangladesh's development, including infrastructure projects. He emphasized the need for local students to be prepared to contribute to the nation's progress.
