DMP's Law Officer, Mohammad Ataul Haque, stated that the resolved cases spanned Motijheel, Tejgaon, Wari, Gulshan, Mirpur, Ramna, Lalbagh, and Uttara divisions. Additionally, 39 special operations were conducted to maintain law and order. Under the Road Transport Act 2018, 1,300 traffic violation cases were filed, with 337 resolved and 6,64,500 Taka in fines collected. One accused received a jail sentence.
DMP highlighted that the immediate justice provided by Special Metropolitan Magistrates is increasing public trust in the judiciary and law enforcement, while instilling fear among criminals, thereby improving Dhaka's law and order situation.
