Dhaka Metropolitan Police's Detective Branch (DB) has released Khairul Islam Sajib, son of Narayanganj-3 MP Azharul Islam Mannan, after finding no truth in the allegations against him.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police's Detective Branch (DB) has released Khairul Islam Sajib, son of Narayanganj-3 MP Azharul Islam Mannan, after questioning. The release came after the DB found no truth in the allegations against him. Sajib was taken into custody on Sunday night (June 22) and released from the DB office in Dhaka.

Allegations Not Substantiated

DB Chief Shafiqul Islam confirmed the release, stating that the initial investigation did not substantiate the allegations against Sajib. He was questioned based on certain complaints, but the DB could not find any truth in them, leading to his release.

Previous Expulsion from Youth League

Sajib, apart from being the MP's son, was also the joint convener of the Narayanganj district youth league. He was previously expelled from the party following his detention by law enforcement on various allegations. However, the recent DB investigation did not find any truth in the latest allegations against him.
