In a significant anti-crime operation across Dhaka, police arrested 463 individuals and filed 38 cases within the last 24 hours. The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) reported that the arrests were made in various divisions, including Ramna, Lalbagh, Wari, Motijheel, Tejgaon, Mirpur, Gulshan, and Uttara. Additionally, one suspect was apprehended by the Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit and 13 by the Detective Branch (DB).

During the operation, authorities seized 15,364 yaba tablets, 45.58 kilograms of cannabis, one CNG-run auto-rickshaw, one motorcycle, 10 mobile phones, four auto-rickshaw batteries, a knife, and a machete. One victim was also rescued. Legal proceedings are currently underway for those arrested.
