The National Zoo authorities have clarified that the albino buffalo 'Trump' is in good health despite social media rumors suggesting otherwise. Visitors have expressed concerns over the buffalo's condition, but zoo officials insist it is well cared for.
The buffalo, named after former US President Donald Trump due to its unique appearance, was brought to the zoo after intervention from the Home Ministry. It is now under the care of the National Zoo.
The zoo has taken measures to ensure the buffalo's comfort, including providing fans, a mosquito net, and a shaded area. A medical board has also determined its diet to ensure its long-term health.
Despite these efforts, some visitors still believe the buffalo appears unhealthy. The zoo director has been transferred, and the curator has been temporarily dismissed, though authorities claim these changes are unrelated to the buffalo's care.
