American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) and the Bangladesh Volleyball Federation have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance mutual cooperation between sports and education. The MoU aims to increase collaboration between the sports and education sectors in the country, promote the educational development of athletes, and build skilled human resources.

The MoU was signed last Wednesday at an event held at the AIUB campus. AIUB Board of Trustees Chairman Nadia Anwar and Bangladesh Volleyball Federation President Faruk Hasan signed the MoU. AIUB Vice-Chancellor Mo. Abdur Rahman, Proctor Manzur H. Khan, Bangladesh Volleyball Federation General Secretary Bimal Ghosh, AIUB Office of Sports Co-ordinator Mo. Joynal Abedin, and officials from both institutions were present.

Through this agreement, AIUB will serve as the official educational partner of the Bangladesh Volleyball Federation for the next three years. It is hoped that this partnership will create new opportunities for student engagement, skill development, and the development of volleyball in Bangladesh, as well as establish a sustainable development model that combines sports and education for future generations of athletes.
