A US attack on a residential home in the Chah Tangu neighborhood of Qeshm island resulted in the deaths of three family members, according to Iranian media reports. The Fars news agency cited the Hormozgan University of Medical Sciences, stating that the victims included a father, a mother, and their 2-year-old child. Two other children were injured in the incident.

The US military recently concluded a heavy wave of strikes, as confirmed by official statements. However, specific details regarding the targets and the rationale behind the strikes remain undisclosed. The attack has heightened tensions in the region, drawing condemnation from Iranian authorities.

Qeshm island, located in the Strait of Hormuz, is a strategic location due to its proximity to major shipping lanes. The island has been the subject of military activities in the past, given its geopolitical significance.

The incident underscores the ongoing volatility in the region, where military actions often lead to civilian casualties. International reactions to the strike are expected as the situation develops.
