DHAKA - Tanzid Hasan Tamim has credited the bowlers for setting the stage for Bangladesh's T20 series-clinching victory over Zimbabwe. Tanzid, who was named both Player of the Match and Player of the Series, highlighted patience and partnerships as crucial elements of his match-winning innings.

The opener praised the bowlers for restricting Zimbabwe to a manageable total on a challenging batting surface. "Our bowlers did a really good job. They bowled very nicely on that wicket," he said.

Tanzid explained his batting approach, focusing on keeping things simple and playing on merit. "I tried not to play too hard, just watch the ball and play on merit," he added.

Reflecting on the tense final overs, Tanzid said he remained composed, believing that staying at the wicket would help finish the match. The series victory holds special significance after Bangladesh's earlier losses in the Test and ODI series.

The win marks a positive end to an otherwise disappointing tour, providing a morale boost for the team.
