In a commendable gesture, the Rajshahi Zila Parishad has provided financial assistance to eighth-grade student Atikul Hasan, enabling him to participate in the Dhaka level karate competition. This support follows his impressive performance in the 'Notun Kuri Sports-2026' competition, where he secured first place at both the district and divisional levels. The financial grant was handed over by Rajshahi Zila Parishad Administrator Advocate Ershad Ali (Esha) at the Zila Parishad Administrator's Office.

Atikul, a student at Rajshahi Adarsha High School, faced financial difficulties in affording the necessary karate kit. Recognizing his talent and dedication, the Zila Parishad Administrator stepped in to ensure that Atikul could continue his karate journey without hindrance.

During the grant ceremony, Advocate Ershad Ali emphasized the importance of supporting talented students. 'It is our responsibility to stand beside talented and gifted students. Sports-oriented students like Atikul are the future of the country. I hope he will achieve success at the national level as well and bring honor to Rajshahi and Bangladesh,' he said.

The 'Notun Kuri Sports-2026' competition, organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, aims to identify and nurture young sporting talents across the country. Atikul's success at the district and divisional levels has highlighted his potential, and the financial aid from the Rajshahi Zila Parishad is a significant boost for his upcoming challenges.

Atikul's journey is an inspiring example of how community support can help young athletes overcome financial barriers and pursue their dreams. With the backing of the Rajshahi Zila Parishad, Atikul is now better equipped to compete at the Dhaka level and aspire for even greater achievements in the future.
