The Ministry of Youth and Sports organized a national inception workshop at the BIAM Foundation to initiate the revision of the National Youth Policy 2017. The workshop, supported by UNFPA Bangladesh and implemented with technical assistance from national consultants and VSO Bangladesh, launched the policy revision process through stakeholder consultations, evidence gathering, and broad-based engagement.

Aminul Haque stated that the primary objective of the revised policy is to enhance young people's skills and create employment opportunities in line with global trends.
