England will host Bangladesh for a one-off Test match at Lord's Cricket Ground next year, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has confirmed. The historic match, scheduled to begin on May 28, 2027, will mark Bangladesh's first Test tour of England since the two-match series in 2010. The ECB also announced that the England Women's team will conclude their home summer with a three-match Vitality IT20 series and a three-match Metro Bank ODI series against Bangladesh Women.

ECB Chief Executive Officer Richard Gould expressed excitement about the upcoming series, stating, "We are excited to welcome Bangladesh Men for a one-off Test at Lord's, which will be the first time we have played them at home in a Test since 2010, while also hosting Bangladesh Women in a white-ball series."

Although Bangladesh lost both Tests during their 2010 tour of England, the series featured memorable individual performances. Current Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Tamim Iqbal scored a century at Lord's, earning a place on the prestigious Lord's Honours Board. Fast bowler Shahadat Hossain also secured a place on the Honours Board after claiming a five-wicket haul during the tour.

This upcoming Test will be a significant event for Bangladesh cricket, providing an opportunity to showcase their talent on one of the most iconic stages in the sport.
