Prime Minister and BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman has invited top leaders of the parties that participated in the simultaneous anti-fascist movement to a dinner at State Guest House Jamuna tomorrow. The event will be held at 7:30 pm, as announced by Prime Minister's Additional Press Secretary Atikur Rahman Ruman. This will be the first meeting between Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and the leaders of the allied parties since the BNP formed the government after securing a majority in the 13th parliamentary election held on February 12.
Reuniting Political Allies
The dinner is intended to reunite leaders of the political parties that were allies in the simultaneous movement against the previous government, which was labeled as fascist by the opposition. More than 150 leaders from the allied political parties have been invited to the event, and invitation cards have already been delivered to them. Members of the BNP Standing Committee will also be in attendance.
