The trailer of 'Lifeline', a Chorki original film directed by Kazi Asad, has been released. The trailer depicts urban young woman Ananya (Vidya Sinha Mim) embarking on a difficult and rugged journey to find someone, with Korbaan (Rejwan Parvez) as her companion. The film, set to release on June 21 on Chorki, explores themes of love, responsibility, and an uncertain journey.
Kazi Asad, who previously directed 'Adhunik Bangla Hotel' for Chorki, expressed his desire to create something new. He mentioned, 'After Adhunik Bangla Hotel, I wanted to do something new. Drama is a genre I really like. I wanted to work on a social drama story. The idea seemed like it could be a film. The story has social awareness and emotions, which attracted me as a filmmaker. We consciously wanted to say something that would create a connection between the audience and the filmmaker.'
Rejwan Parvez, who plays Korbaan, spoke about the challenges of shooting rugged terrains on a motorcycle. Vidya Sinha Mim also shared her experience, highlighting the difficulties faced by the entire unit while shooting in such environments.
'Lifeline' also stars Gazi Rakayet, AKM Hasan, Khairul Alam Sabuj, Naznin Hasan Chumki, Anisa Nur, and Fatematuz Zohra. The story is written by Mahmudul Hasan and Kazi Asad, with screenplay and dialogues by Asaduzzaman Abir and Kazi Asad.
