Nasir Ezaz Bijoy has resigned from his position as CEO of Standard Chartered Bangladesh (SCB).

Nasir Ezaz Bijoy has resigned from his position as CEO of Standard Chartered Bangladesh (SCB). The bank has announced Mo. Enamul Haque as the acting CEO. Bijoy has served as CEO for nearly 9 years and has been with the bank for over 33 years. He will continue to be associated with Standard Chartered. Bijoy is stepping down for personal reasons and will remain in his position until his successor is announced. Mo. Enamul Haque, currently the Country Chief Risk Officer and Senior Credit Officer Bangladesh, will take over as acting CEO.

Nasir Ezaz Bijoy has been with Standard Chartered for over 33 years, holding significant roles in corporate banking, risk, and audit across Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. He previously served as the head of the Global Banking division of the bank.
