The Khulna city unit of Jubo Dal today conducted a tree plantation programme in Wards 22, 29, and 31 as part of its ongoing environmental campaign. The initiative, launched in response to a call by Prime Minister and BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman, aimed at maintaining ecological balance, addressing climate change impacts, and contributing to a greener Bangladesh.

Programme Inauguration

KDA Chairman and Khulna City BNP President Advocate S.M. ShafiqulAlam Mona inaugurated the programme as the chief guest at Abu Hanif Madrasa in Notun Bazar under Ward No. 22 in the afternoon. Khulna Metropolitan Jubo Dal Convener Abdul Aziz Sumon and Member Secretary Robiul Islam Rubel attended the event as special guests.

Tree Planting and Objectives

Participants planted saplings of various fruit-bearing, timber, and medicinal trees. Speakers highlighted the initiative's goals of ecological balance, climate change mitigation, and creating a healthier environment for future generations. They emphasized Jubo Dal's commitment to environmental conservation under Tarique Rahman's directives.
