Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested 67 people in separate operations across the Tejgaon Division over the past 24 hours. The suspects were apprehended during regular drives in crime-prone areas under the Tejgaon Division's jurisdiction.

The arrestees are distributed across different police stations: six from Tejgaon Police Station, 10 from Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Police Station, 21 from Mohammadpur Police Station, 17 from Adabor Police Station, five from Tejgaon Industrial Area Police Station, and eight from Hatirjheel Police Station.

All arrested individuals have been produced before the appropriate courts for further legal proceedings. In a separate incident, traffic police recovered a snatched mobile phone and detained a suspected snatcher following a swift chase in the capital.

The suspect, identified as Sujan Mia, 22, was arrested after a traffic sergeant heard a woman crying for help when her mobile phone was snatched. The sergeant chased and detained the suspect in the Siddique Bazar area, recovering the phone and returning it to the victim.

The suspect was handed over to Banshal Police Station, where legal action is underway. These operations reflect the ongoing efforts by Dhaka police to maintain law and order and ensure public safety in the city.
