The conflict between the United States and Iran has escalated further with new military attacks on both sides. US Central Command reported completing an 11th consecutive night of strikes on Iranian military targets, aiming to degrade Iran's capability to threaten commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. Iran has warned of more powerful strikes ahead.

US President Donald Trump met with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun at the White House, vowing support for disarming Iran-backed Hezbollah and achieving lasting peace with Israel. Trump also announced the resumption of direct flights by US airlines to Lebanon, suspended since 1985.

The cost of the Iran war for the US has risen to $37.5 billion, according to Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. Trump has forecasted that it would take Iran two decades or more to rebuild from the current damage and reiterated the US commitment to continued attacks.

Tensions are heightened by the Houthi rebels' threat to blockade Saudi ports, a move Trump warned he would counter. Meanwhile, Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif urged restraint from all sides, offering Pakistan's mediation.

Iran's attacks on Kuwait's power and water desalination plants have caused fires, while Bahrain's military intercepted Iranian attacks. The Iranian Revolutionary Guards stopped two non-compliant oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz, citing explosions and fires aboard them.
