Iran's Revolutionary Guards announced that two oil tankers exploded after hitting mines in the Strait of Hormuz. The incident occurred as the United States and Iran continued their exchange of drone and missile strikes. The Guards stated that the tankers were attempting to navigate through a minefield set by deceptive American intelligence agencies.

The Revolutionary Guards also reported stopping four ships from transiting the critical waterway. Meanwhile, US Central Command confirmed strikes on Iran for the seventh consecutive night, aiming to degrade Iranian military capabilities.

Iran accused US forces of targeting civilian infrastructure, including an airport, a railway station, and two bridges. Major General Mohsen Rezaei warned that Tehran will resume full-scale offensive operations if US strikes continue, stating that no political border will be safe.

The conflict, which began on February 28 with US-Israeli strikes on Iran, has seen escalating attacks on strategic infrastructure. Iran has effectively closed the Strait of Hormuz, a vital shipping channel, and launched attacks on Israel and American interests across the Gulf.

David Khalfa, a Middle East specialist, noted that the conflict is drawing in a widening range of strategic infrastructure, yet neither side has a strategic interest in allowing this dynamic to continue. Mediators are calling for both sides to resume talks, but the situation remains volatile.
