Deputy Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad Barrister Kayser Kamal, MP, joined a doa and milad mahfil today at the Jatiya Sangsad Secretariat Mosque, seeking eternal peace for the soul of former Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani. The event, which began after Zuhr prayers, included recitations from the Holy Quran and special prayers for Sheikh Hamad, Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman, former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia, freedom fighters, and those who died in democratic movements. The congregation also prayed for the peace, progress, and prosperity of Bangladesh and the Muslim Ummah. Senior Imam Md Abu Raihan led the prayers, which were attended by Members of Parliament, the Secretary of the Jatiya Sangsad Secretariat, and other distinguished guests.
