Deputy Minister for Primary and Mass Education, Bobby Hajjaj, announced that the government is working on creating a unified and accountable framework to ensure quality education for all students. To achieve this goal, all English medium schools in the country will be brought under a uniform policy. This initiative aims to ensure the quality of education, enhance teaching standards, ensure the overall safety of students, institutional accountability, and national interests.
The Deputy Minister made these remarks during a visit to 'The Aga Khan Academy Dhaka' on Wednesday. Emphasizing the importance of eliminating educational disparities, Hajjaj stated that the government aims to create an inclusive education system where students, regardless of whether they study in Bengali medium, English version, or English medium, will have equal opportunities to acquire national values, civic responsibility, and international standards of competence. He further mentioned, 'We want to build an education system where students do not just strive for good exam results; rather, they will learn to think independently, innovate, and lead the future generation. The youth will lead the future Bangladesh. Therefore, equipping them with world-class skills, ethical values, and creativity is one of our main objectives.'
During the visit to the academy, Deputy Minister Bobby Hajjaj toured the 'Student Exhibition' organized by the students. He observed various research, innovative projects, and creative presentations with keen interest and praised their talents. He commended the institution's modern teaching methods, student-centric education, and leadership development activities. The Deputy Minister called upon relevant stakeholders to further expand research, innovation, and creative education activities in other educational institutions across the country.
