Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) Administrator Mahfuzur Rahman Riton distributed food items and wheelchairs to over 400 ultra-poor people and persons with disabilities at an event organized by the Lifat Protibondhi Foundation Cooperative Society. The event took place at the Shopner Bagan Community Center, adjacent to Shaheed Zia Shishu Park in Rajshahi city. Mahfuzur Rahman attended as the chief guest and reaffirmed the RCC's commitment to the welfare of underprivileged communities. He highlighted the city corporation's ongoing efforts to implement Prime Minister Tarique Rahman's directives and improve civic services. Mahfuzur Rahman also announced plans to support the establishment of a specialized hospital for persons with disabilities in Rajshahi and urged participants to join the Prime Minister's tree plantation campaign.

The distribution programme, chaired by Lifat Foundation Chairman Riaz Shikder, saw over 400 beneficiaries receiving essential aid. Keynote speaker Nasim Khan, Shah Makhdum Thana BNP Member Secretary, along with other dignitaries including Rajshahi Mahanagar Jubo Dal Convener Shariful Islam Johnny and Protibondhi Swanirvar Sangstha President Mominul Islam, addressed the gathering. The event was attended by leaders and activists of BNP and its associate bodies, as well as local dignitaries and community members.
