In Narsingdi, a prayer meeting was organized in memory of late freedom fighter Mohammad Azmal Bhuiya, who significantly contributed to education in Hossainnagar, Belabo upazila. The event, held at Shaheed Muktijoddha Najib Uddin Khan College, was attended by teachers, students, college governing body members, and local dignitaries. Speakers paid tribute to Azmal, highlighting his bravery during the Liberation War and his post-war sacrifices.

Significant Contributions

Mohammad Azmal Bhuiya was a lifetime donor member of Shaheed Muktijoddha Najib Uddin Khan College. His efforts in expanding education in Hossainnagar are widely recognized. The college, under the chairmanship of Acting Principal Abdullah Al Mamun and moderated by Assistant Teacher Md Sazzad Hossain, organized the event to honor his legacy.

The meeting saw the presence of notable figures including former acting principal Srimanta Lal Pal, social worker Haji Md Rahmat Ali Molla, former female vice-chairman of Belabo Upazila Parishad Nazmunnahar Amena, Nazrin Haque Hena, legal aid secretary Rokhsana Akter, social worker Md Mizanur Rahman, and Abul Bashar, general secretary of Ward No. 5 BNP. They shared heartfelt tributes, recalling Azmal's sacrifices and contributions to the community.
