One Dead, Three Injured in Head-On Collision in Manikganj

A fatal head-on collision between a truck and an auto-rickshaw in Manikganj has left one person dead and three others injured.

A man was killed and three others were injured in a head-on collision between a truck and an engine-driven auto-rickshaw on Hemayetpur-Manikganj Regional Highway today. The accident occurred around 9 am when the two vehicles collided head-on, leaving one dead and injuring three others.

Immediate Response and Investigation

Locals promptly rescued the injured and admitted them to Singair Upazila Health Complex. Singair Police took the body under their custody for sending to Manikganj Sadar 250-bed hospital for an autopsy. The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately. The driver of the truck managed to flee with the vehicle after the accident. Police are trying to locate the ill-fated truck and its driver, according to Office-in-Charge (OC) of Singair Police Station Md Mazharul Islam.
