Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has provided free medical services to 552 flood victims in Jamalpur district. The Jamalpur Battalion (35 BGB) organized a medical camp at Bakshiganj upazila to offer free medical treatment and medicines. The event was inaugurated by Mymensingh Sector commander of BGB, Colonel Sarker Mohammad Mostafizur Rahman. The camp was attended by Jamalpur Battalion Commander Lieutenant Colonel Hasanur Rahman, Deputy Commander Major Mohammad Mushfiqur, Assistant Director Mohammad Imam Hossain, local public representatives, distinguished citizens, journalists, and a large number of residents.
The initiative reflects BGB's ongoing commitment to providing humanitarian assistance to those affected by natural disasters. The medical camp aimed to address the immediate health needs of the flood-affected population, ensuring they receive necessary care and medication.
