Information and Broadcasting Minister Zahir Uddin Swapon today expressed deep shock at the death of renowned television personality and former Director General of Bangladesh Television (BTV) Mostafizur Rahman. In a condolence message, the minister highlighted the significant contributions of Rahman, known for creating popular television dramas such as "Sokal Shondha" and "Eishob Dinratri".
The Minister described Rahman's death as an irreparable loss to the country's cultural arena. He prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed his deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
