# 2nd Embassy Indoor Games to Start Tomorrow at International School Dhaka *The 2nd Embassy Indoor Games, featuring representatives from 26 diplomatic missions and organizations, will commence tomorrow at International School Dhaka.* August 27, 2026 ยท Sports Tomorrow, August 28, 2026, will mark the beginning of the highly anticipated 2nd Embassy Indoor Games. Held at the International School Dhaka in Bashundhara residential area, the event is set to bring together around 120 participants representing twenty six diplomatic missions and organizations. The two-day meet will feature competitions in table tennis singles and doubles, as well as badminton doubles and mixed doubles. Foreign Minister Dr. Khalilur Rahman is expected to inaugurate the event as the chief guest at 10 am, according to a press release issued today. State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shama Obaed Islam will also be present at the opening ceremony as the special guest. Hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and organized by GamePlay Limited, the event aims to strengthen friendship and promote sports diplomacy among the international community. Participants will include representatives from various embassies and high commissions such as Algeria, Australia, Bangladesh, Denmark, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Iran, Nepal, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, and the United States. Major international organizations like the United Nations, World Health Organization, World Bank, Asian Development Bank, UNDP, WFP, IOM, and IFC will also be represented. Additionally, International School Dhaka (ISD) and a2i will be participating.
