Allah says, 'They have been commanded only to worship Allah, offering Him sincere devotion, being true (in faith); to establish regular prayer; and to give Zakat.' (Surah Bayyinah, Ayah 5).

## 2. Perform Ablution

While recitation without ablution is permissible, performing ablution (Wudu) before reciting the Quran is an act of respect and cleanliness. It signifies reverence for the sacred text.

## 3. Focus and Concentration

Maintain full attention and concentration during recitation. Avoid distractions and impure environments, such as places with bad odors or near restrooms.

## 4. Seek Refuge from Shaytan

Begin recitation with 'Auzu Billahi Minash Shaytanir Rajim' to seek Allah's protection from Shaytan. Allah says, 'When you recite the Quran, seek refuge with Allah from Satan, the expelled (from His Mercy).' (Surah Nahl, Ayah 98).

Hazrat Zubayr ibn al-Awwam (RA) reported, 'I heard the Prophet (PBUH) reciting Surah Ar-Rahman in such a beautiful voice that I have never heard anything more beautiful.'
