Jahed Ur Rahman, Information and Broadcasting Advisor to Prime Minister Tareq Rahman, believes a quick solution will be found for the push-in issue along the border. Speaking at a regular press conference held by the Information Department at the Secretariat on Tuesday, he expressed this optimism in response to journalists' questions.

Addressing a question about the push-in issue at the border, Jahed Ur Rahman said, 'We have certainly followed the West Bengal elections. This was an issue there. It is their internal political matter, which is putting some pressure on us. I do not believe that the Indian government is doing this to create tension with Bangladesh. The new government in West Bengal, which has come to power after being elected, had a kind of election promise. They have a policy, and this is an external expression of that.'

The advisor said he firmly believes that the new government in Bangladesh, along with the Indian government, wants to move beyond the situation that existed with the Yunus government after August 5. Both countries want this. Therefore, he believes a quick solution will be found for the initial crisis that is being observed.
