# Partho Refutes December Return Claims for Hasina, Citing July Movement Realities

Bangladesh Jatiya Party (BJP) Chairman Barrister Andaleeve Rahman Partho, MP, has stated that there is no basis for the claim that Sheikh Hasina will return to Bangladesh in December. Partho made these remarks after visiting river erosion-affected areas in Bhola Sadar and inspecting canal excavation at Alinagar union. He emphasized that it would be extremely difficult for Hasina to re-enter politics while denying the realities of the July Movement.

Partho criticized Hasina's various remarks, calling them political statements without any factual basis. He highlighted the challenges of returning to politics after the significant events and public sentiment that emerged from the movement. Partho recalled his own experiences during the movement, noting the sacrifices made by many.

During his visit to Bhola, Partho expressed dissatisfaction with the Upazila administration and Water Development Board officials over the ongoing river erosion situation. He accused the Awami League of failing to take effective measures to prevent erosion during their 17 years in power and criticized the interim government for not initiating any visible solutions.

Partho stressed the urgency of a permanent solution to the river erosion crisis, which threatens residential areas, agricultural land, educational institutions, and critical infrastructure. He pledged that his party would protect Bhola from river erosion and fulfill their commitment once a major budget is approved at an upcoming ECNEC meeting.
