On August 12, 2026, leaders and activists from Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal and Chhatra Dal commemorated the 57th birth anniversary of Arafat Rahman Koko at his grave in Banani graveyard. Koko, the youngest son of BNP founder Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia, was remembered with floral wreaths, prayers, and munajat.

Central and metropolitan leaders from Jubo Dal, including Central General Secretary Mohammad Nurul Islam Nayan and Organizing Secretary Kamruzzaman Jewel, joined the tribute. They were accompanied by Dhaka Mohanagar North Jubo Dal Convener Sharif Uddin Jewel and Member Secretary Sazzadul Miraj. Meanwhile, Central Chhatra Dal President Rakibul Islam Rakib led the Chhatra Dal members in paying their respects.
